Hottest One: Etisalat 1GB For N500

Yeah, what you see or heard is actually right, i also can't believe it, the competition is now turning very serious after the emergence of MTN 1.3GB for 1k and 2GB + Airtime for N2K etisalat is also now unleashing one of its cheapest data plan. i know you will be thinking that this plan is a weekly based plan but capital NO this is a fresh data plan introduced by etisalat which will give you 1GB of data at an affordable price of just N500. Android users are now selective of which data plan to go for because the networks are both rocking the competition so fast and tide.

Well its our opportunity now to rock it and i believe in the near future one doesn't have to look for a cheat or tweak to browse because everything will become affordable and cheap. After i received the text about that offer i was so suprised as to how the networks are now desperate in challenging one another despite the fact that there call rate was not that far cheap.

Doubting thomas is what makes me to contact there CC online and chat with them in other to confirm that the offer is genuine, yeah its good plan and from the information i got is that the plan is for newly activated line i.e. New etisalat simcard, just buy a new etisalat sim card and register it to activate this package but as a matter of suprised my old etisalat line was rocking perfectly at the time of this post.

How to subscribe for Etisalat 1GB for N500
Load N500 Airtime on your etisalat line
Simply dial *229*2*2#
Check your data balance with *228#

Child who wore Lionel Messi plastic bag shirt forced into exile by Taliban as family fear he could be kidnapped

Murtaza Ahmadi, the 5 year old child whose picture of him wearing a plastic bag jersey with Lionel Messi's name and number went viral early this year, has been forced into exile as his family fear he could be kidnapped by Talibans.

Now I want you to invite me so I can come and meet you." Then In February, UNICEF confirmed Murtaza had been sent a signed Argentina shirt by the World Player of the Year.

According to the boy's father, talibans in the area thought Messi must have also sent the boy some money alongside the signed jersey, so his family have had to relocate him amid fears he could be kidnapped and then Lionel Messi contacted to pay a ransom. Mohammad Arif Ahmadi told the BBC, "A few days ago I got a call from a local gangster," he said. He thought that since my son had received these T-shirts from Messi that maybe he also got money and asked for his share." The family have moved to neighbouring Pakistan after selling their possessions and are currently in Quetta.

Better Ways Of Preparing Noodles That Everyone Will Want To Eat

I cooked this noodles same way we all make noodles in our homes. Only difference is I added more ingredients with the noodles and added the cooked shredded chicken at the end.

Cooking Procedure:

First, I boiled the shredded chicken with onion and salt for about 3 minutes because it cooked very fast. Then I boiled water for the noodles, added both the noodles and vegetables at the same time, waited for about a minute before adding the sardines. Noodles cooks really fast, in about 6 minutes it was ok for me then I added both the shredded chicken and delicious stock, stirred, waited a few seconds and turned off the heat.

INGREDIENTS below...

If you do not like noodles, you can actually cook spaghetti or macaroni like this, but increase cooking time from five minutes to ten or more.
Ingredients:

Water
A handful shredded chicken
I medium sized onion bulb for boiling the chicken and adding with vegetables
3 small packs noodles
3 large carrots, I cooked some and left some for garnishing
1 small green pepper
2 small sized tatashe
2 cabbage leaves
1 can sardines

Large serving noodles

Hot noodles

Shredded chicken with salt, water, oinion

Noodles and veggies added same time

Sardines in noodles

Shredded chicken and stock

Happy cooking!

Pope condemns paedophilia as new details of 6 year old girl's murder and rape emerges in Italy

Pope Francis used his weekly Sunday message to denounce paedophilia, following the emergence of new details surrounding the alleged rape and murder of an Italian girl- child in 2014.

The Pope’s comments followed new revelations in the case of a six-year-old girl who died in June 2014, after allegedly being thrown from an eighth-story balcony in Naples.
A 43-year-old man is being held in a prison in Rome charged with throwing the girl from a housing block in a deprived area of the city after raping her, following a re-opening of the case. The man has denied the charges.
“This is a tragedy. We should not tolerate the abuse of minors,” said Pope Francis, in his message and blessing at St Peter’s Square.
“We must protect our minors and severely punish abusers.”
The Pope has vowed a “zero tolerance” for abusers in the Church, however victims groups have accused him of not doing enough.

We Earn More Than Bank Workers –FCT Cab Drivers

I made N5,000 daily, one of them says

To many, the taxi driver is just another Nigerian among the nation’s overflowing population of struggling citizens caught in the endless race to stay afloat, especially in these trying days of economic recession. Like the majority of his fellow countrymen and women who constitute the membership of the commoners club, he is presumed to be on the wheels on most days, putting in so much and earning so little in return.
But in Abuja, the nation’s capital, many of them seem not comfortable with the notion that they are just a little better than society’s very poor. Many of them who were interviewed byAbuja Metroconfessed that they are not at the rung of the financial ladder as many think.
As our investigation revealed, not few taxi drivers in Abuja are landlords, even though there are those who waste their earnings on drinks, parties and women. Some of them boasted that they make more money than what a banker earns monthly even though they work at their own pace and can afford to take a day off, “unlike office workers who can do so only with their boss’ permission.”
Checks also revealed that some taxi drivers in the capital city are holders of either NCE or university degrees, but chose to become self-employed after failed efforts to secure non-existent white collar jobs.
Sharing his experience as a cab driver in Abuja, Mr Joseph Adeni, a graduate, began by stating what it takes to join the trade.
“If you want to be a taxi driver here, there are legal ways to go about it. First, you register with any of the various unions because this is one of the rules and regulations for taxi drivers in Abuja. You must register with them and become a member. The different colours, which are green and yellow, indicate the different taxi drivers unions in Abuja.
“Each day, I make at least N5,000. It all depends on how hard you work. I am married with children and I maintain my family from the proceeds. The car I use for taxi, is mine; so I do not make delivery to anybody”, he said.
Adeni said he enjoys his job even though he would have preferred a pensionable employment.
“As an educated person, one needs to have a pensionable job because old ages, which is inevitable, sets in, it affects the job of a taxi driver”, he reasoned.
Also, he talked about “one -chance” robbers who operate in cabs in the city, saying that the activities of the criminals are adversely affecting the genuine cab operators. “This is because a passenger could stop you and suddenly refuse to enter your car, maybe because of your looks. Even cars that are registered and painted in taxi colours indulge in ‘one chance’ activities. We hope that government would take the issue of monitoring registered cars seriously”, Adeni said.
On the notion that taxi drivers are drunks and womanizers, Adeni stated that it all depends on the individual, because he neither womanizes nor drinks.
Another cab driver, Mr Ademola, said he was married with children who are all in school, adding that he is happy with his job because he makes a lot of money to take care of his nuclear and extended families. Like Adeni, he assured that he had no reason to regret being a cab driver in Abuja.
Their colleague in the business, Muhammad Umar, who operates from Jabi park branch, toldAbuja Metrothat he was married with five children and they are in school. He stated that he pays their school fees conveniently from his earnings as taxi driver.
However, he complained that business has been slow lately due to the lingering fuel scarcity, and appealed to the government to act swiftly, “because Nigerians are suffering, spending many hours at the filling stations.”
For Mr Mustapha Muhammad, another taxi driver, things are not yet shaping up because he operates the cab business for someone and makes daily payment to the owner of the car. Married, but yet to have children, his present challenge is the fuel scarcity because he spends hours in long queues to get fuel and the situation takes its toll on his earnings. He explained that, to be able to make reasonable money for him and the owner of the car, he has to be on the road very early.

Tupac Shakur's Mother, Afeni Shakur Davis, Dies At Age 69

Afeni Shakur Davis, the famous rapper Tupac Shakur's mother and a member of the infamous "Panther 21" in the 1970s, has died aged 69, California officials say.

Davis' death was first announced by the Marin County Sheriff. She had reportedly been living on a houseboat in Sausalito, Calif. A cause of death has not yet been given.

Born Alice Faye Williams, she changed her name as an adult when she became politically active and joined the Black Panther movement. A native of North Carolina, Davis first gained prominence as one of 21 members of the Black Panther party put on trail in New York in 1969 for allegedly plotting to shoot and bomb two New York City police stations and an education center. It was at the time the most expensive trial in New York history and ended with an acquittal of all defendants.

She gave birth to two children, most famously Lesane Parish Crooks in June of 1971, who was later known as Tupac Shakur. Tupac's dad, Billy Garland, had been acquitted with Davis in the Panther 21 trial just a month before he was born.

As she bounced from New York City to Baltimore to California, falling deeper into drugs and the Black Panther movement, she enrolled young Tupac in several arts schools and programs, where he honed the natural musical and acting gifts that would make him a hip-hop icon.

In later life, Davis spent much of her time managing her late son's massively popular musical legacy after he was gunned down at age 25 on a Las Vegas street corner in 1996. Shakur's musical catalog was netting about $900 million per year at the time of her death, reports the New York Daily News.

In 2003 on the release of the movie "Tupac Resurrection," Davis told CBS News: "I'm not a filmmaker. I'm not a music producer by choice. Whatever it is I'm doing I do because my son was murdered, and he was not able to complete his work. So as his mother, my whole job and responsibility is to see to it that that happens for him, and I do that with love."

Davis was often noted for talking with frankness and candor, whether discussing her former crack habit or her son's own mistakes, which she allowed to be chronicled directly.

Davis rarely talked about the fact that the killing of her son is still unsolved, and insisted in her CBS News interview she did not think about it.

"Not a second. Not even a nanosecond have I concerned myself with who shot him or why they shot him, or what should happen to them. I don't care what happens to them," she says fiercely. "I spend my time putting my sons work out, because guess what - they shot him, (but) did not shut him up though."

More recently, Davis had been involved in a divorce dispute with North Carolina minister Gust Davis, reports TMZ.

Nigerian Billionaire Femi Otedola Loses $400Million In 9 Weeks

Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola has lost more than $400 million of his personal fortune over the last 9 weeks as the stock price of Forte Oil, the Nigerian-listed energy behemoth he controls, shed off 43.5% in value within that period.
In late February the share price of Forte Oil hit an all-time high of N342 per share after the Lagos-based utilities and petroleum marketing company released its impressive 2015 FY results and declared an attractive dividend of N3.45 per share. However, as at close of trading today (Tuesday), its share price has dropped to N193.46 after recording consistent daily losses over the past few weeks. Otedola, who is the company’s controlling shareholder, has seen his paper net worth drop from $1.6 billion when FORBES published its annual ranking of the World’s Billionaires in March, to $1.2 billion today, according to the FORBES’ real-time billionaire scorecard.
A source at Forte Oil says that the drop in the company’s share price is not unconnected to massive sell-offs of bonus shares from some of the company’s retail investors. Last year, Forte Oil offered investors a bonus of 1 new share for every 5 ordinary shares they held. In total, Forte Oil declared roughly 216 million bonus shares for the 2014 business year. The bonus shares were only issued to investors a couple of weeks ago and they have been scrabbling to sell off their bonus shares on the market to cash in. This mass sell-off has precipitated the drop in the share price.
“This is only temporary. As you’ll see, even though investors are selling off their bonus shares, there are institutional investors who are buying up all the shares on offer as evidenced by the volume of the transactions in the last few days. When all those bonus shares are cleared up by institutional investors, you’ll see the share price rising again,” the source said.
Of the 216 million bonus shares which have been issued, Femi Otedola received approximately 170 million.
Forte Oil PLC is primarily engaged in the distribution of petroleum products such as diesel, aviation fuel and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). The company has over 500 company-owned, dealer-assisted and dealer-developed gas stations spread across the country, oil storage depots in Lagos and Rivers states, a Power plant and a Joint User Hydrant Installation facility in Lagos. The company also sells its own range of automobile lubricants. In 2014 the company was included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Frontier Market 100 Index

Top 10 Fertility Myths Exposed

Myth 1: GETTING PREGNANT IS EASY

Reality — Statistics tell us a different story. It’s now estimated that one in four couple in Nigeria will have fertility issues over their reproductive lifetime.

Myth 2: SPERM LIVE FOR ONLY A FEW HOURS

Reality — The lifespan of sperm varies from man to man, but in general sperm can survive in utero for about 48 hours. In some rare cases sperm can survive for up to 96 hours

Myth 3: YOU NEED TO ORGASM IN ORDER TO CONCEIVE

Reality — Orgasm is always a plus, and it does aid in contracting the uterus – which definitely helps sperm travel toward the fallopian tubes faster. But even if this doesn’t happen, your baby-making efforts won’t be for naught.

Myth 4: SWALLOWING Fluid WILL MAKE YOU MORE FERTILE

Reality — Fluid definitely has its wacky benefits, but making you more fertile
Isn’t one of them – at least, no studies have proven it so far.

Myth 5: BREASTFEEDING= BIRTH CONTROL

Reality — While it’s definitely true that breastfeeding can keep women period-free for longer and, therefore, less fertile, but not all women see this effect – so relying on breastfeeding as your sole form of birth control isn’t very reliable

Myth 6: LIFTING YOUR LEGS IN THE AIR FOR 20 MINUTES AFTER HAVING SEX WILL HELP YOU GET PREGNANT

Reality — There’s no scientific proof that this will increase your odds of conceiving. But some experts (and common sense) say that staying in bed for a little while after intercourse will help keep Fluid from leaking out of the vagina — and maybe, help ensure that every last sperm gets a fighting chance at the prize

Myth 7: DOING IT MISSIONARY STYLE IS THE ONLY WAY TO CONCEIVE

Reality– The truth is, the actual position you do it in doesn’t matter much — as long as there’s deep penetration going on and, of course, your man ejaculates, it’s all the same.

Myth 8: YOU SHOULD HAVE SEX EVERY DAY

Reality– This is boring actually. When you are trying to conceive, sex around 3 times a week would be good, to keep the sparks flying and not to miss the days when you are ovulating.

Myth 9: I’VE ALREADY HAD A BABY – I’LL DEFINITELY BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE AGAIN

Reality– It may not be the case. Fertility issues can arise even after giving birth. Factors such as age, diet and drinking habits, lack of exercise and increased stress can lead to difficulties in getting pregnant

Myth 10: INFERTILITY IS A WOMAN’S PROBLEM

Reality– This couldn’t be further from the truth. A couple’s inability to conceive is as much a problem of the sperm
as it is for an egg
